Time Lapse

Time Lapse, released in 2001, tells the story of Clayton Pierce (William McNamara), a loyal deep-cover agent. His twenty years of service have put him at the top of his game, but the job has has cost him his wife, family and anything resembling a normal life. During a routine debrief after a completed assignment, the agency he's served for decades secretly administers an experimental "treatment". The drug is called Oblivion, a neurotropic weapon created to neutralize enemy operatives by permanently erasing long-term memories. When Pierce investigates this "test", he discovers that not only do the effects become permanent within days, his very identity will begin to disintegrate. After receiving no help from his boss, Agent LaNova (Roy Scheider), he begins to learn the depth of his betrayal. Burnt by his own agency, Pierce turns to his estranged wife, Kate (Dina Meyer) and, together, they attempt to find the antitode before his personality fades into Oblivion. MORE [EDIT]
