This Girl for Hire

Set in Hollywood, this made-for-television comedy stars Bess Armstrong as B.T. Brady, a private eye hired by noted mystery novelist Harrison Wooly (José Ferrer) to safeguard his latest manuscript from a shadowy figure who slays the writer in an attempt to get it.
