There's a Girl in My Soup is a British romantic comedy directed by Roy Boulting. Robert Danvers (Peter Sellers) is a host of a popular English cooking show, and is known nation-wide as womanizer and an egotistical chauvinist. However, he meets Marion (Goldie Hawn) a beautiful, free-spirited American girl, who has recently broken up with her rock star boyfriend, who promptly sweeps him off of his feet. Despite their considerable age gap, her at nineteen and him past forty, the two of them create an instant bond, and after one day, she moves in with him, and soon after that, they take a romantic two week trip across France. Robert finds that he really may have fallen in love, not lust, with Marion, and when they return to England amongst rumors of marriage, indecency, and passion, he must decide what road of life to walk down, and if Marion will be there with him.
