The Wild Thornberrys Movie is a made for TV movie that follows Nickelodeon's beloved Thornberrys through an African safari. The movie centers around the youngest daughter of the Thornberry family, Eliza (Lacey Chabert), and her ability to talk to animals. She finds out that because of a shaman she is able to talk to animals, and as long as she doesn't tell anyone about her gift it will last until she dies. Drama begins when Eliza finds out that poachers are setting out to kill a herd of elephants with an electric fence in the Serengeti Desert, and Eliza sets out to stop the poachers and save the elephants.
