The Vicious Kind is a 2009 comedic drama directed by Lee Toland Krieger. Caleb Sinclaire (Adam Scott) has let himself become isolated and jaded. Due to his own romantic failures, Caleb decides to direct his anger at women, adopting an acerbic wit and misogynistic attitude. One Thanksgiving weekend, Caleb is forced to interact with his family for the first time in a while. He picks up his conservative, easygoing brother, Peter (Alex Frost), from college and drives him home for the holiday.
