THE VACANT HOUSE

The Vacant House (2008) is the fifth feature film by team Etheridge. This mystery was written and directed by Ray Etheridge, and produced by Migdalia Etheridge, his wife. Migdalia Etheridge also wrote the lyrics for the soundtrack song, "On Halloween Night" with music by Anthony Carter. The Vacant House was filmed in Palm Bay, Florida and distributed by Golden West Films. In the story John and Kathy Burns (Patrick Campion and Sarah Murphy) have purchased a home. Halloween takes a back seat to moving day, until six friends show up with psychic Floyd (Alexander Leaty) in tow. A seance begins with laughter, but ends with the revelation of painful memories by the uninvited guests. The end of the party does not bring rest for the couple as their sleep is disturbed by unexplained noises. As the story line progresses more clues are uncovered. Floyd returns to the house and the who and why of the ghostly haunting is revealed. MORE [EDIT]
