The Sunshine Boys is a 1975 comedy written by Neil Simon and directed by Herbert Ross. The film follows feuding vaudevillian actors Al Lewis (George Burns) and Willy Clark (Walter Mathau) as they try to come together for one last encore. As the film begins, Willy's nephew Ben (Richard Benjamin), a talent agent who has been trying to book his uncle for years, finds out that CBS is producing a special on the history of vaudeville. Ben persuades his Uncle Willy to take part in the production but finds out that he must book Al as well for the gig to come through.
