The Song of Hiawatha is a dramatic western film directed by Jeffrey Shore based on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s poetic epic that tells the story of Hiawatha (Litefoot), the legendary Native American leader of the Ojibway, as French trapper Bertrand (Michael Rooker), priest Marcel (David Strathairn), and their interpreter O Kagh (Graham Greene).
