The Seeker: The Dark is Rising is a based off a children's novel of the Arthurian genre of folklores and tales, and was developed into this movie's dark plot about a personal quest to see that good triumphs over evil. Will (Alexander Ludwig), the main character with an average teenage life, is lost in a huge family and trying to get noticed by a girl that he fancies at school.
