The Secret is a 2007 supernatural horror film starring David Duchovny, Lily Taylor and Olivia Thirlby. Directed by Vincent Perez, the movie is a remake of the 1999 Japanese movie, Himitsu. Dr. Benjamin Marris (David Duchovny) and his wife, Hannah (Lili Taylor), are a happily married couple, who have recently moved to Boston with their daughter, Samantha (Olivia Thirlby). Out of the blue, their lives are all changed forever when they are involved in a violent car wreck. Although Hannah dies, she somehow manages to transfers her spirit into the body of her daughter.
