The Saint stars Val Kilmer as Simon Templar, a mysterious international thief whose real identity is known to no one. Templar grew up in an orphanage full of overly-strict priests who are too quick to punish the children. The children are all given names of saints. As an adult, Simon Templar uses names of saints as his cover whenever he pulls a job. He's a loner who lives by his own rules, traveling the world and engineering elaborate heists requiring a high level of cunning and skill. He plans to retire from his life of crime as soon as his bank account reaches $50,000,000.
