The Rainmaker is a classic 1956 drama starring Katherine Hepburn and Burt Lancaster. In the Old West, the small town of Three Points has been suffering under a drought that has been killing their livelihood, the cattle. In spite of the heat wave, local rancher H.C. Curry (Cameron Prud'Homme) only wants his tomboy daughter, Lizzie (Katherine Hepburn), to find a husband in spite of her plain looks.
