The Punisher brings the comic book icon to life in this 2004 adaptation of the Marvel Comics series. Bobby Saint (James Carpinello), son of organized crime boss Howard Saint (John Travolta), is killed when an arms deal with gunrunner Otto Krieg is ambushed by the FBI. When the elder Saint investigates his son's death, he discovers the true identity of Otto Krieg - undercover agent Frank Castle (Thomas Jane). Newly retired after the firefight that took the life of Saint's son, Frank and his family attend a family reunion, where Saint's men lie in wait.
