The Pope's Toilet takes place in a small town in Uruguay around the 1980's. Pope John Paul II is scheduled for a visit in order to bless the town, as well as its inhabitants and those who are making a pilgrimage there for the honor of seeing his holiness. This is extraordinary news for the town's inhabitants, as it is an area stricken with poverty and a lack of natural resources.
