The People vs. Larry Flynt is the 1996 Oscar-nominated bio-pic by acclaimed director Milos Forman (Amadeus, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) and is now available on Crackle.com. Woody Harrelson plays the controversial and outspoken pornography publisher, who's very public indecency trial changed America's laws on freedom of speech. Flynt starts out selling moonshine at age ten in Kentucky. As an adult he and his brother (played by Harrelson's real brother Brett Harrelson) own a failing strip club. In an attempt to boost attendance, Flynt decides to publish a newsletter, advertising the girls from the club, which caused Flynt's first brush with controversy as the pictures were racier than allowed in those days.
