The Onion Movie (Unrated) is a 2008 feature-length film brought to you by the same creative genius that produces "America's Finest News Source", that is writers Robert D. Siegel and Todd Hanson. Journalistic integrity is no joking matter for the thick-headed Norm Archer (Len Carlou) who works as top news anchorman for Onion News. When he is asked to make several sacrifices at the whim of his corporate authorities, Norm looses all semblance of rational thought and behavior. He rebels with an onslaught of verbal attacks as conjures up false news stories. Much like the newspaper, the comedy of The Onion Movie is grossly satirical and centers around racial stereotypes, pop culture, celebrities, politics, and blockbuster flops. The highlight of the film is most definitely a character named Cock Puncher who mocks Steven Seagal.
