The North Avenue Irregulars

The North Avenue Irregulars is a 1979 Disney comedic crime movie directed by Bruce Bilson. Reverend Michael Hill (Edward Hermann) arrives to a new city with his two kids to become the minister of North Avenue Presbyterian Church. The church has been struggling financially, and while some of the congregation is open to new ideas and changes others are not. Anne (Susan Clark) is the church secretary and music director, and she is not happy about having a new minister. Before Reverend Hill can make too many changes, Anne asks Mrs. Rose Rafferty (Patsy Kelly), a respected church member, to take over the church's financial records. Mrs. Rafferty takes it upon herself to raise additional funds for the church. However, her methods are unconventional and soon the church finds itself entangled with a group of people who do not have the church's best interest at heart.
