The Marsh

The Marsh is a drama that was released in 2006. The movie features the story of Claire Holloway (Gabrielle Anwar), a young writer who has written one of the most successful series of children's books. Sadly, her own life is not such smooth sailing as she continues to get creepy visions of death and violence. She seems to think that there is some sort of darkness inside her that is trying to come out. After much contemplation, she decides to go on a sabbatical leave and retire to the countryside for some time. When she arrives at the Rose Marsh Farmhouse, it looks eerily similar to the place she has been seeing in her nightmares. Once she begins to stay at the farmhouse, odd occurrences begin to happen that Claire cannot explain. She is seeing visions of a ten year old girl who seems to be trying to give her a message. Together with a small town publisher (Justin Louis) and a paranormal consultant (Forest Whitaker), Claire tries to discover what terrible secrets are hidden in this village. MORE [EDIT]
