The Lost Tribe is a documentary film about the life of Sue-Ann Post and her association with the Mormon Church. The film opens with a spot of Sue-Ann doing an Australian talk show and criticizing the Mormon Church for not accepting openly gay and lesbian members. Upon her return home, she finds that her church has officially kicked her out of their membership. Sue-Ann herself is a comedian and openly gay Australian citizen, whose whole life has revolved around the Mormon Church. Sue-Ann and her companion, Rachel Landers, document their struggles as they try to get some recognition and get reinstated back into the Mormon Church.
