The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is the final installment in the blockbuster saga adapted from the classic works of J.R.R. Tolkien, directed by cinematic impresario Peter Jackson (King Kong, The Lovely Bones, Dead Alive). The story picks up with a flashback which reveals how Gollum/Smeagol (Andy Serkis) was corrupted by the discovery of Sauron's Ring.
