The Hunter is a thriller film that was released on August 1, 1980. The film was directed by Buzz Kulik. The Hunter centers around Ralph "Papa" Thorson (Steven McQueen), a bounty hunter who prides himself on having captured more than 5,000 criminals. As for his personal life, Ralph has a girlfriend named Dotty (Kathryn Harold), who is pregnant with his baby. When Ralph is given the job to find and capture Tommy Price (LeVar Burton), he realizes that he is being followed.
