The Grudge 3 is an American horror film that was direct-to-DVD in 2009. It is the third installment in the popular Grudge trilogy. It begins right where the previous one ends, Jake was in the Chicago apartment and his fate with the curse wasn't looking too good. Turns out he died of what doctors called a severe hallucination. Word of his death travels back to Japan where a girl named Naoko, sister of Kayako, believes she can stop the curse forever. As she travels to the now contaminated building she meets a new group of young adults who are plagued by the new curse on their apartment.
