The Grocer's Son, also known as Le fils de l'epicier, is a 2007 French drama directed by Eric Guirado. In the film, Antoine (Nicolas Cazalel) is a 30-year-old grocer's son who left his small village ten years earlier and has been estranged from his family every since. When his father (Daniel Duval), the village's traveling grocer, has a stroke Antoine's mother, (Jeanne Goupil), requests her son to come home and help his brother, Francois (Stephan Guerin-Tillie), run the family business. Antoine reluctantly agrees, but decides to bring his friend, Claire (Clotilde Hesme), with him.
