The Greatest Story Ever Told is a 1965 Biblical epic that tells the story of Jesus Christ (Max Von Sydow) from the Nativity to the Resurrection. Much of the film is a dramatization of the last three years of Jesus' life. We see Jesus restoring sight to a blind man (Ed Wynn) and curing a lame man, Urhia (Sal Mineo). We witness the final scenes of resurrection and crucifixion in striking detail. The immense cast includes Dorothy McGuire as Mary, Claude Rains as Herod, Charlton Heston as John the Baptist, Sidney Poitier as Simon of Cyrene, Telly MORE [EDIT]
