The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest is a 2009 Swedish film based on the very popular book of the same name by Stieg Larsson and directed by Daniel Alfredson. The film stars Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace and was written by Ulf Rydberg and Jonas Frykberg along with Stieg Larsson. The detective team is back and they are solving one of the biggest mysteries that they have ever come up against. The previous films, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire also center around the magazine Millennium, where Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) works as a reporter.
