The Fugitive is an action film about a man desperately trying to find the real killer of his wife. Dr. Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) is happily married to Helen Kimble (Sela Ward) and appears to be living an idyllic life. His life is turned upside down, however, when he returns home one night to find his wife has been mortally wounded. He catches the One-Armed Man who attacked her in the house, but is unable to stop him from getting away. Because of the lack of evidence, Kimble is accused and convicted of her murder. On the way to prison, the bus transporting him crashes and Kimble is able to escape.
