The Forgotten is a chilling psychological thriller about one woman's fight to convince the world about the truth behind her son's death and existence. The film was written by Gerald Di Pego, directed by Joseph Ruben, and stars Julianne Moore. Telly Paretta (Julianne Moore) is haunted by the death of her eight year old son Sam who died in a wretched plane crash fourteen months ago. She enlists the help of an esteemed psychiatrist, Dr. Jack Munce (Gary Sinise), to cope with her loss. However, Dr. Munce tells her that her memories of Sam are just a fabrication of her imagination - Sam never really existed.
