The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave brings the accident prone stuntman from talk show appearances into his own full-length slapstick adventure. When Super Dave Osborne (Bob Einstein) goofs up his New Year's Eve stunt, he decides it is time to retire with a little dignity. He closes his Stunt Academy and fires his faithful sidekick, Fuji (Art Irizawa). His life seems to be improving when he meets Sandy (Gia Carides), the mother of a sickly son named Timmy (Carl Michael Lindner). When Super Dave's one-time prot''g'' D.J. (Steve Van Wormer) teases young Timmy into attempting a bicycle jump, his heart condition is aggravated. Super Dave must don the crash helmet one more time to pay for a needed operation on Timmy.
