The Diamond Wizard revolves around Joe Dennison (Dennis O'Keefe), a federal agent from America, who is attempting to capture a number of fugitives who stole a million dollars from a vault owned by the U.S Treasury. As one of the crooks runs to London, Dennison gives chase. The crooks have teamed up with a local mob, who plan on paying them in fake diamonds. While searching for the fugitive, Dennison meets up with Insp. McClaren (Philip Friend), a member of Scotland yard. Although they are partners, McClaren is also on the hunt for a missing nuclear scientist, Dr. Eric Miller (Paul Hardtmuth).
