The Color Of Night is a 1994 thriller, centering on Dr. Bill Capa (Bruce Willis), a respected psychologist. Capa enjoys his line of work, but tragedy strikes when one of Capa's patients, Michelle (Kathleen Wilhoite), unexpectedly commits suicide in his office. The experience stuns Capa and leaves him profoundly shaken, suffering psychosomatic color-blindness. Unable to see the color red, Capa leaves New York for Los Angeles, attempting to restart his life and heal the past. He seeks the help of a fellow therapist, Dr. Bob Moore (Scott Bakula).
