The Big Hit is a 1998 American action comedy directed by Hong Kong filmmaker Kirk Wong and starring Mark Wahlberg, Christina Applegate, Avery Brooks, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Elliot Gould. Melvin Smiley (Wahlberg) is part of an elite assassin team. However, he's not the cold-blooded macho man you might expect.
