The Accused is a 1988 Academy Award-winning drama directed by Jonathan Kaplan. One night, Sarah Tobias (Jodie Foster) decides to go to a local bar called The Mill to drink alcohol and dance. A few hours later, she runs out of the building in a panic and tells police that she has just been gang raped by patrons of the bar.
