Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre) is a the 1994 sequel to the original Chainsaw film of 1974. This second installment was written and directed by Kim Henkel (Last Night at the Alamo), who also helped co-write the original film. The movie stars Ren'e Zellweger (Jerry Maguire, Bridget Jones series) and Matthew McConaughey (Dazed and Confused, The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) in what would be their first roles in mainstream film.
