Taken is an action-packed thriller released in 2008. Bryan Mills (Liam Neeson) is a retired CIA spy, wanting to spend time with his estranged daughter, Kim (Maggie Grace). Kim is more interested in taking a trip to Paris with her friend Amanda (Katie Cassidy), assuring her dad that they will only visit museums and do some shopping. Mills finally agrees to the trip, against his better judgement. The girls go to Paris and share a taxi from the airport with Peter (Nicolas Giraud). As the girls enter their apartment, Peter makes a phone call, sharing the information that he's found two young girls visiting Paris alone.
