Superbad is a 2007 comedy film written by Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-year Old Virgin) and directed by Greg Mattola. The film is about two best friends, Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera), and their quest to hook-up with the girls they like before they have to head their separate ways in college. A presumably impossible mission is given a chance when they are asked to purchase liquor for a big party in which both girls will be at. Taking the invitation they resort to using their mutual geeky and incompetent friend Fogul (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and his newly acquired fake I.D. to get the booze.
