Sunshine Cleaning is a 2008 American comedy-drama film by director Christine Jeffs, starring Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Jason Spevack, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Steve Zahn, and Alan Arkin. When thirty-something-year-old single mother Rose Lorkowski (Amy Adams) is told that hse must either put her rambunctious son, Oscar (Jason Spevack) on Attention Deficit Disorder medication or send him to a private school, she finds herself short on cash. Mac (Steve Zahn), Rose's ex-high-school-sweetheart and currently married lover, suggests that she go into the crime scene cleanup business to make the money she needs to pay her son's tuition.
