Suicide Killers

Suicide Killers is a dark and disturbing journey into the phenomenon of suicide bombers. Through intimate and direct contact with imprisoned suicide bombers and their families, this documentary explores the psychopathology of the men and women who are willing and eager to serve as human tactical weapons to fulfill their missions. Suicide Killers meets with the families of several suicide bombers who show two opposing responses - bewilderment and pride. In rare footage of a Palestinian bomber preparing for a mission, he reveals his hopes for his children to follow in his footsteps. A visit to a children's summer camp unearths martyr training that prepares the future generation of suicide bombers. The documentary presents several motives including brainwashing, cynical tactics and frustration that stems from the repressive separation of men and women in Muslim society.
