Strange Awakening

Strange Awakening is a 1958 thriller directed by Montgomery Tully. After a thief strikes Peter Chance (Lex Barker) on the head and steals his wallet, medical workers take unconscious Peter to the hospital for treatment. While he is there, Dr. Rene Normand (Peter Dyneley) identifies him as Gordon Friend, the missing son of a wealthy temperance advocate. When Peter wakes up he finds himself in a luxurious mansion, which is inhabited by Mrs. Friend (Nora Swinburne), who claims to be his mother, Marny (Lisa Gastoni), who claims to be his sister, and beautiful Selena (Carole Mathews), who tells Peter that she is his wife. Peter has no memory of any of them, because he is suffering from amnesia due to his head injury. The women tell Peter that he has inherited millions of dollars from his father, and he only has to sign a couple of documents before the money can be transferred to him. But as pieces of his memory begin to come back, Peter starts to suspect that the women aren't actually who they claim to be. MORE [EDIT]
