Stir of Echoes 2: The Homecoming is a 2007 made-for-TV movie written and directed by Ernie Barbarash. Starring Rob Lowe, Marnie McPhail, and Ben Lewis, the film tells the story of an embattled Iraq war veteran who returns home and discovers that his wounds from the war may be more intense than originally suspected. Ted Cogan (Lowe) is a National Guard Commander in Iraq when he orders his men to shoot at a speeding van that is seemingly out of control. Only later does he discover that an Iraqi family is inside, and in spite of his best efforts, Cogan is unable to save the young girl.
