Star Wars is a 1977 science fiction fantasy film about Luke Skywalker (Mark Hammill) leaving his home planet of Tattooine on an adventure across a galaxy far, far away. Skywalker lives with his aunt and uncle on a dirt farm with dreams of someday joining the Rebel Alliance to fight the evil empire. His life changes when he buys two droids R2-D2 and C-3PO. A secret message hidden inside R2-D2 from Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) leads him to find Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guiness).
