Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels is a documentary film of filmmaker/comic writer Kevin Smith as he sets out to interview comic book writer, editor, and publisher Stan Lee about his life and his achievements. Stan Lee, in joint efforts with several artists, launched Marvel Comics from a small publishing house to the large multimedia corporation it is today with their co-creations of iconic comic book characters, such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Avengers, Iron Man, the Hulk, and Thor. The documentary is broken down into two separate films, "Creating Spider-Man" and "Here Come the Heroes" with a side interview of Lee's wife, Joan, and a few home movies.
