Stagecoach to Fury (1956) is a study of a stagecoach full of passengers bound for the western town of Fury. When the coach stops at a relay station, it comes under attack by a band of Mexican outlaws. Both parties nervously await the arrival of a gold shipment that will end the standoff. Cavalry officer Frank Townsend (Forrest Tucker), however, realizes that the arrival of the shipment will result in the death of all the passengers and works to rally his fellow travelers to fight off the bandits. As the wait progresses, the viewer is treated to a flashback character study of each of the passengers and gets a glimpse of each passenger's own less than pure motivations. Directed by William F.
