Stagecoach, the 1966 remake of the John Ford and John Wayne classic, finds a group of unlikely companions on the same trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming. They include a drunken doctor, a bar girl who's been thrown out-of-town, a professional gambler, a traveling liquor salesman, a banker who has decided to embezzle money, a gunslinger out for revenge, and a young woman going to join her army captain husband. Starring such screen luminaries as Bing Crosby, Ann Margaret, Stephanie Powers, and Van Heflin, Stagecoach 1966 features everything we love about westerns -- gunplay, intrigue, romance, and comedy. Shot in color, unlike the 1939 version, the film makes extensive use of the amazing scenery of Colorado and the western United States. Further MORE [EDIT]
