During the Napoleonic Wars, the British capture French officer Viscount Jacques St. Ives (Jean-Marc Barr) and send him to Scotland as a prisoner. He falls in love with local beauty Flora (Anna Friel), who's also being courted by the prison warden, Maj. Chevening (Richard E. Grant). While St. Ives teaches the major a few things about women, Flora arranges his escape and reunites him with his long-lost grandfather in this light-hearted romp.[EDIT]
