Split: A Divided America travels coast-to-coast to look at how political partisanship is dividing the country. The film discusses how the complex facets of politics affect our culture and society and ultimately divide America. Information is presented in a bi-partisan way. The documentary presents the perceived divides across political parties including Red States/Blue States, Liberal/Conservative, and Republican/Democrat from perspectives including cultural (religion, geography/urbanization, race and wealth), modern media, campaigning strategies, and other factors. Part travel documentary and part political investigation, the film strives to present viewers with a factual representation of America's political divisions. The film features candid discussions with citizens across the country as well as commentary from some of today's sharpest political minds with in-depth analysis of government and society.
