Spanglish is a 2004 comedic drama about the intermingled lives of a wealthy family, their maid and her daughter. Flor Moreno (Paz Vega) is a Mexican housekeeper who, despite not speaking English, gets a job working for the wealthy Clasky family. John (Adam Sandler) is a successful chef, while his wife Deborah (Tea Leoni) is a former businesswoman who quit her job to raise their two children, Georgie (Ian Hayland) and Bernice (Sarah Steele). Deborah's alcoholic mother, Evelyn (Cloris Leachman), also lives with the Clasky's, often serving as a foil to her selfish daughter.
