Soulstice is a 2006 drama film that centers on the decisions of a mild-mannered man in the middle of a crossroads. Sol (Donny Lucas) has never been one to live on the edge in life and has always been content with the simple things. He feels rebellious when he makes an effort to sneak out from his girlfriend, Jen (Izabella Zalewski) just to grab a quick cigarette and a cheap coffee in the morning. During one of these coffee runs, Sol's life is changed permanently when his roommates whisk him away into helping out with a bank robbery that turns out to be a jackpot. Sol's lifestyle choices come into question when Jen puts her foot down; she tells Sol that either he return to his complacent ways and abandon his reckless new lifestyle or he can live a life without her.
