Skid Row' is a 2007 documentary featuring Pras Michel, a member of the popular hip hop band 'The Fugees' as he goes undercover, living as a homeless man for nine days in the Skid Row section of downtown Los Angeles. Skid Row itself is a 50 square block long area downtown where up to 90,000 homeless men and women live on any given night. There in Skid Row Pras learns the hard truths of living on the streets, dealing with exposure to the elements, hunger, drugs, danger and criminals. Adjusting to the lifestyle of the streets is difficult for Pras, a man used to being rich, but he moves forward with the project, event though it means, for instance, leaving his treasured Blackberry behind. While a harsh and difficult experience, Pras learns how to fend for himself and how to see the humanity in others who have it much worse off than he himself has it.MORE[EDIT]
