Six Gun Trail, a film produced in 1938 is based on the original story and screenplay written by E.R. O'Darsi. Captain Carson (Tim McCoy) and his partner Magpie (Ben Corbett) are actively investigating the heist of jewels involving a gang of skilled thieves. In an effort to apprehend the thieves, Carson devises an elaborate scheme posing as a Chinese jeweler who smuggles rare and precious gems. Steven Chase (Jim Wilson ) is the mastermind of the gang and leads his cohorts in an attempt to rob the Captain of all his money and jewels to split between his gang.
