Sherman's Way is a 2009 comedy from Craig M. Saavedra. It talks about the strange journey of Sherman Black (Michael Shulman), a law student at Yale who travels to California. Sherman has a routine life and his girlfriend keeps advising him about "cutting loose," "being impulsive" and "taking more chances in life" referring to their dying relationship. Not getting the advice that right, he sets out to meet his girlfriend for the summer in California's Wine Country. With this decision, he is cut off from the financial support of his high-society mother. Plus he discovers an unpleasant surprise in California and decides to go back.
